The Odón story

One day in 2006, Jorge Odón woke up at 4am with a bold idea — one that could revolutionize childbirth. He got to work making a prototype, using one of his daughter’s dolls at first. After refining the idea with various obstetricians he met Dr. Mario Merialdi from the World Health Organization, who granted Odón a 10-minute meeting at a medical conference. The meeting lasted two hours, as they quickly saw its potential for global impact. Today, after more than a decade of development and rigorous clinical testing, supported by investments exceeding $25 million, the OdonAssist™ is gaining recognition as a much-needed breakthrough for assisted childbirth.
